Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data the DOPOMOHA UA Charitable Foundation (EDRPOU code 44818755) collects when you use this site, why we do it and what rights you have.
By using the site or making a donation you confirm that you have read this policy.
What data we collect
We deliberately keep the amount of data to a minimum and never ask for more than the foundation needs.
- Data you provide yourself: your name or a nickname (optional), email address, and the text of your message if you write to us.
- Donation data: amount, currency, blockchain transaction ID, date and time of payment. We receive this data from the UseGateway payment gateway.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, language, the pages you opened and the time of your visit.
What we do not collect
- We never ask for or store private keys, seed phrases or wallet passwords.
- We have no access to your wallet and cannot initiate any debit from it.
- We do not collect payment card data — donations on this site are made in cryptocurrency only.
Why we process data
- To confirm a donation and, at your request, send you a personal report.
- To keep accounting records and publish the foundation's reporting.
- To answer your enquiry.
- To protect the site from abuse and fraud.
- To understand which pages are used most often and improve the site.
Legal grounds
We process data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you leave your email address), in order to meet our obligations as a charitable organisation, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and our fundraising transparent.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for commercial purposes. Access to certain data is limited to:
- the UseGateway payment gateway — within the scope of processing a donation, under its own privacy policy;
- hosting and analytics providers who process data on our instructions;
- state authorities — solely in the cases and to the extent expressly required by law.
Blockchain transactions are public
Please note: transactions in public blockchains are open by design. The wallet address, amount and time of a transfer are visible to everyone and stored permanently. We have no technical means to change or delete such a record.
If anonymity matters to you, do not enter your name in the form and do not link your wallet address to your personal details.
Cookies
We use technical cookies required for the site to work and analytics cookies that give us anonymised visit statistics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — the site will keep working, though some features may become less convenient.
How long we keep data
Donation data is kept for as long as the legislation on accounting and reporting for charitable organisations requires. Correspondence is kept for up to three years. Analytics data is kept for up to 26 months in anonymised form.
Your rights
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@ua-help.org. We respond within 30 days.
- Find out exactly what data about you we store.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of data where there is no lawful basis to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent to processing — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
Data protection
The site runs over a secure HTTPS connection. Only authorised staff of the foundation have access to personal data. Should a breach occur that threatens your rights, we will notify you within 72 hours.
Children
The site is not intended for people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us their data, write to info@ua-help.org and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page. We will announce any significant changes on the site's home page.
